To ensure that they achieve their academic objectives, athletes in the WHL receive aid from the government for educational expenses such as high school coaching or tuition for post-secondary programs. While a player’s primary on-ice goal is to win the Championship and compete for the storied Memorial Cup, it is equally important for that player to set their sights on academic success as well. Their Club’s are governed by League-wide Education Standards that ensure players complete their high school in timely fashion and achieve the highest level of academic success possible.

Both the structure of the instruction and the tempo were executed well. The instructor was very understandable and did a good job of explaining various ideas. Excellent utilisation of still photos, moving films, and slide shows. Given the material, the instructor manages to keep your interest. CHL gives you the freedom to come back at any time and start up where you left off if you need to, which is quite helpful given the length of the course. The most crucial thing is that the content helps you get ready for the test. Strongly recommend taking this class.

Very easy to understand and straightforward class. Able to do from CHL couch while reviewing the PDF manual's search function. 100% on the 25 question test at the end that took less than 10 minutes to complete. Learned a few things along the way as they are a novice with guns and still learning before their first purchase.
